Both Fallout 4 and Windows 10 has many variables which can result in game crashes on your computer. For most users, this issue is caused due to outdated or corrupted drivers of the graphics card installed in your computer. Most crashing issues are related to a corrupted save and/or a bad mod being added to your game. Disable any mods added and start a 'new' save to see if the issue occurs on a brand new game. If it does not crash on a new game, the issue most likely is related to a bad save and/or mod. If it does crash on a brand new game, uninstall/reinstall the.
Make sure you don't have the FPS set to anything above 60. I remember fallout 4 bugs out and could crash if you are pushing more than 60 fps (which a 2080 could EASILY do) 0.

Ever since I've started to replay fallout 4 with mods on my Xbox one, the game is constantly crashing. Sometimes it's ever 10 minutes and then others it will go for 1+ hour and be fine and just randomly freeze and/or crash. All of them work and they are all now in the correct order in my load order but it seems to be crashing even more now. I don't know if this is just on my end or something wrong with the game but it can range from being mildly annoying and only happening sporadically to happening ever 5 minutes and making the game unplayable. If there are any suggestions on how to improve/fix this issue, please let me know
